Learning MacTwist

Hey Guys,

What is your opinion of MacTwist ? I see many pilots throwing reserves for MacTwist. Is it a stable maneuver if done properly or an extremely sensitive maneuver to get right.

Are there tricks to learn this safely?

Thanking you in advance for all the information.

Do you know how to do Wing Overs?

Watch the video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjP6Wqz9q5I

Hi, I'm David Thibodeau.
I'm making this video because I want to know:
Do you know how to do Wing Overs?

After full stalls, spins and spiral exits, this maneuver is the most important of all if you want to begin acrobatics.

The understanding and the mastery of this basic maneuver will later help you with loopings, tumblings, corkscrews, mctwists, Infinitys and more.

Helico with Mentor 3?

Hi,

I'll soon be trying to learn the helico manoever. I have a Nova Mentor 3 S and a Gradient Freestyle 2 20. My weight: 75kg. 90kg all up.
Do you think the helico is possible with a Mentor 3? (I cannot find any heli movies of a mentor 3 on the internet...) If yes, which of the two would be the best wing to start practicing with?

If I can do it with the Mentor, then it will be easier with the Freestyle afterwards, or not?
Or should I learn it with the FS2, and switch to the Mentor when I have more confidence?

What do you think?

Full stall/ fly back Emilie Peace

Hey guys,

I just got my Emilie Peace 22 and love it. Before I had an Instinct2Acro and was wondering before doing stalls with the Emilie: with these really small air intakes I'd suspect she doesn't like being totally deflated?! But "deep" full stall is good to define the flyback point/ brake position to move on with "flat" full stalls. So how did you do that? Just like with any glider (I really like full stalls and I'm very comfy with it)?Or do you have any advice how to stall these gliders?

Any help is appreciated,

c u

How to do Deep Stall not full stall!

Guys,

Please help me with deep stall. I practised it over the lake at least 5 times and every time it goes into full stall :).

I am flying thriller 2k12. The problem is that the break pressure goes to maximum and if I hold it a few secs at that point, it turns to full stall. My question is this:

On this glider what is the feeling you get when you are about to enter deep stall?

When the break pressure reaches maximum do you start releasing it when you see some changes to the glider ? If so what changes ? Or if there is a difference in the feeling.
