I know its the very basic of Acro, but you have to start somewhere right, and as I am only flying coastal, it is hard to progress further than wingover with only 50m underneath you.
I am pushing pitch control quite far at the moment, and I am wondering at what point does it have a frontal collapse during the surge forwards. How do I tell if I have gone this far, and how do I then brake it to prevent a collapse?
Also, whats the next step after dynamic turn in the acro school of learning?
To all of you more experienced pilots...first tumble attempt from asy spiral or spiral dive?
Thanx for any advice.
Cheers.
Okay, got the new 20m Thriller (my all up is 107kg)... and my tow rig is working perfectly... The fall weather where I live is allowing for towing almost every evening now... Time to really kick up the Rhythmic SAT training with the goal to get into a tumble and hopefully one of these days keep it in there for enough turns to call it an Infinity... At least this is the dream.
Hello, i'm starting heli's with an aspen freestyle 22 at around 100kg take of weight.
Yesterday I had my first failure because of (i think) thermal and strange wind direction.
I know that some pilots are doing heli's on thermal and going up!! (I was not trying to do that)But how is it possible, smaller wing?
Next year i want to change for something more dynamic like thriller 20...I have already tried it last year but i wasn't ready, now i have to do more heli's, mysti flip and tumble with my wing and maybe i 'll go for it.
Do you think i am wright?
