This week end happened to be the final event of the 2012 world cup season, AcroWing tour in Annecy, this event was synchro/solo APWC and the french championships Synchro and solo in the meantime.
The first 2 days we had terrrible weather with rain and wind all day long, and so we could only let 5 pilots of the french championship fly
On friday the rain stopped but the wind was quite strong we had to wait until 1pm to see the wind stop and to run the 1st solo task of this Acro Wing tour, the 44 pilots were able to fly this task.
the top 5 of the 1st task was :
1st : François Ragolski (FRA)
2nd: Eliot Nochez (FRA)
3rd: Felix Rodriguez (SPA)
4th: Théo de Blic (FRA)
5th: Marvin Ogger (GER)
With his 10,9 run François took the lead of this last acro world cup event. Because it was quite late after this run the judges decided to do the 2nd task on the next day, sunday.
The sunday the sun was here for the first time in 4days and the conditions looked perfect, the judges decided to do a cut for this task and so the first 20 of the world cup and the first 15 of the french championship went to the take off.
The altitude for this run was quite low and all the pilot had to manadge perfectly their altitude because of a strong wind drift. Finally we could complet this 2nd solo task and so finish the solo competitions,

4th : Théo de Blic (FRA) 20.311
5th : Baptiste Rousset (FRA) 20.108

1st : Leila Simonet (FRA) 15.630
2nd : Alexandra Grillmayer (HUN) 15.040
3rd : Nicole Schmidt (AUT) 6.760

1st : Eliot Nochez
2nd: François Ragolski
3rd: Théo de Blic
In the afternoon the synchro team could even complet 2 tasks with one ''dry landing task'' in the beginning.
The podium of this synchro world cup is :
1st : Sat Cousins (Horacio Llorens/Felix Rodriguez)
2nd : Stay Irie (Marvin Ogger/Lino Oehl)
3rd : Maxi Boys (Tim Alongi/Emmanuel Manon)
And so because it was the final event of the season we also discovered the overall ranking, and the winner happened to be Horacio Llorens from spain for the 4th time in his career !
