The Nordic Championships started in Selbu - Norway (Fritt-Element) with a three days competition 3-5 August.
Using a winch boat gave the 15 pilots very good altitude, and 3 excellent runs.
Top 3 Fritt Element 2015:

3 place Pål Hammar Rognøy. SWEDEN. U-Turn X4
1 place women Linda Kits. SWEDEN. U-turn Blackout
Then we all moved to Åre in Sweden (DOWNTEAM challenge 2015) for one rest day before a new three days comp (7-9 August) to complete the Nordic Championships 2015.
The flying in Åre was from a mountain, and altitude low. This made the tactics very different. Three manuevers was possible, but extra care had to be taken. Only 2 runs were valid due to some rain and strong winds in Åre.
