Can you clarify the mistake? My guess from looking at the video is that you routed the your second rescue over the main BASE reserve routing. If so, you are very luck that it pulled through and deployed. Hopefully your hand was tickling the handle of your round as you pitched forward.
So it was completely my fault for the delayed opening. I incorrectly installed my second rescue. The manual was a little misleading when I installed it but has since been updated. Again, the delay was my own fault and the system was not to blame for my delayed opening. I have since used it again when I broke some lines mid tumble and the base system worked perfectly, even with a blown out glider. I'm a big believer in this system and I highly recommend it to anyone.
I'd contact Adrenalin BASE an send them the video. Maybe they have an explanation for the delayed opening, or maybe this is just statistics, and 1 in 100 openings is like this... I've only seen the BASE system deploy in real life once, and it was much much quicker...
Yeah long free fall : 6 to 7 second to have a straight flight again seems quite longer than expected. Did you manage to get your sunglasses back ? "nice video"
Factory pack. They weren't any rubber bands on the deployment bag grommets after retrieving the glider. Not sure if they were there initially. It kinda explains why the lines didn't stretch out first. Seems it all just deployed at once instead of the staged opening I was expecting.

There is no chest strap on this harness.

was this your own packjob? or the packjob upon delivery (thus packing done by supair or adrenaline base)?
WOW...long freefall, a slightly different experience from the Sup Air promo video for sure!
