Acrolac, first day

However strong rainhowers woke us up in the early mornig right after the breakfast all the pilots went up to the take off.

Finally 36 pilots and only 5 teams registered at the competition. The first synchro task was quiclky done, but the wind was not the best (and the startplace also not really for beginners...) so the solo pilots came down to make their first run by towing on the lake. The french pilots took off first because Acrolac is important for the french ranking. In the afternoon the south wind picked up at higher altitude and the air became very turbulent. The organizers decided to stop the run for safety reasons after the last french pilot Cyril Planton - who finally win the day amongst the frenchs pilots. All the other international pilots will do this task tomorrow morning.

Not a surprise that in synchro the SOL Tribal Acro Team (Renato Lopez, Renato Papa Gonzalves) took the lead in front of us the Soft Landing team (Gábor Kézi, Pál Takáts) and the Swiss Team (Chrigel Mauer and Peter Neuchswander).

The first task was cumpolsury program with the following maneuvers:

Solo:
Asymmetric Spiral, Looping, Dynamic Full Stall, Tail Slide

Synchro:
Wing-Over, Asymmetric SAT, Dynamic Full Stall, Tail Slide
