Yesterday we did our first flight in Brasil, on the Island of Florianópolis. However the conditions were not too strong it was possible to climb up to 5-600 meters and to cruise around above the breathtaking Lagoon!

Guys, I've heard about a new competition "Acromer", in Roquebrune, do you know something about this? It will be the part of the french championship, or also open for everyone? Is this to replace Acrofolies somehow?
Alexandre: Thanks a lot for your comment and the useful links! We are also very happy to be here, I wanted to visit Brasil since a long time! We definitely want to see Rio de Janeiro, but I don't know exactly when. Maybe on the way to Valaderes, or on the way back from there.
No snow, no speed riding (my mini-glider became crazy in its bag !), and no coupe icare blanche !
But it's good for acro training in Gd Bornand with my brother and Maeva, making rotations by chair-lift. Now I just have to learn one last trick...

I live in Rio de Janeiro and I was talking with Fabio, about the possible way of your tour in Brazil. Could be nice if you would want to visit Rio. There are beautiful places here, to fly and visit.
You can to talk with "Paulo Pinto" (Apco dealer in Brazil), he lives here too. Take a look at Paulo's website ( http://www.gaveasky.com.br/english.htm ), there is a lot of information about the city.

Today we flew again at Lagoa (the same place, in the latest gallery), and we could practice a little bit, there was even enough altitude for some short Infinity :-) Then, in the afternoon I climbed to cloudbase and landed just by Fabio's house, behind the mountain.
So where are you guys? Alex in Chamonix, Cyrille in Annecy? Did you have some nice training conditions around there after I left? There is not enough snow for speed riding? How was the Coupe Icare Blanche event, did you go there? Ah, thanks Alex, I'm not planning to fall into the canopy and I wish you will also avoid it, while practicing Infinity :-)

you lucky guys ! It is also the summer in France, we flew in Grand Bornand this week-end. The temperature was about 10 degrees at 2100m !!
