Hmm would my local bridge be high enough?:D

If Mike flew for 40 seconds with a sink of no less than 1.5m/s (slow 360 turn) and jumped from 94m, it took him 94m - (40s x 1.5m/s) = 94m - 60m = 34m to make the glider fly.

Timing from movie gives:

At the time that the glider had slowed the speed down enough that I would be happy to land in the water to the actual landing was 34s. This gives a needed hight of 43m + time to land.

In other words... My local bridge could give me a potential good splash:D Based on the minimum data available and high errors.... so don't base your actions on this calculation:D

While the event is very nice and Mike did a nice performance, jumps with paragliders from fixed objects have been done for a long while and quite often already...
