End of season - Europe Journey 5/5

Since May a bunch of the young talents are on the road together shooting for SOMETHING BETWEEN, a paragliding movie by French filmmakers Antonin Michaud-Soret, Thomas Schira and Robin Cnockaert known as Ahstudio. So far we have seen four travel episodes documenting their 'Europe journey' and this is the last and current one.

We had crew member Marvin Ogger for a little talk on Skype this afternoon. Read on!

justACRO: Hey Marvin, where are you and the crew at the moment, still shooting for the movie?
Marvin Ogger: Hey guys! The last filming session was with Pál in St. Hilaire a few weeks ago. After that I went to Berlin to see Iriedaily, one of the movie partners, preparing wintertime and a little flying trip to Italy next week. As I know Lino is already in South Africa, Tim is working somewhere on his prototypes, Joel in Bulgaria for another shooting, Eliot at home in France, Basti in Austria and the filmmakers back in Brussels editing. So all spread out at the moment.

jA: So how was your season, where have you been filming?
MO: After the winter I had the possibility to check out some flying sites in Alaska and then I met the crew to travel through Europe. We have been to famous spots like Pyla, el Yelmo, Organya, Dolomites and so on but we also found some unknown places for paragliding were we could do some sick stuff.

jA: For example?
MO:: Do you wanna hear my version or the true story?

jA: Your version...
MO: It was a beautiful day at the dune, we were having a perfect session. Tim and Antonin were doing a romantic tandem flight touching the stabilo in the sand and filming me at the same time - three sixty landings touching the water, stabilo right stabilo left, playing with crazy obstacles until the sun went down. Finishing at a nice bonfire celebrating the day with icecold beers.

jA: Now we also want to hear the true story!
MO: It was a beautiful day and they did this romantic tandem flight doing stabi touches.. And Yes, I tried being cool as they are but therefore ended up in the water, hit old trees in the sand, big cacti on top of the soaring ridge and if this wasn't enough this man thought he has to protect his family BBQ aiming a butcher's knife at us because our session was disturbing them.

jA: Sounds great...
MO: Yes it was!

jA: So tell us more about the movie, when can we expect to see first footage of it?
MO: We are on it! But this is our first big step in movie making and a low budget production, so this isn't the only task we are working on. We plan to present the movie teaser until the end of the year.

jA: Already any information where we can watch the premiere?
MO: Nope, didn't choose the place yet. We are also planning to do a little movie tour in 2013 and are still looking for cool spots, open for suggestions..

jA: Nice, we hope to hear more from you soon. Thanks for your time and say hello to the others!
MO: Sure, I will! See you next time..
