"ZETA: Freestyle by ADVANCE New name, new product – ADVANCE are about to introduce the ZETA, a pure Freestyle wing, and so expand their selection of products. Certification is in process.
Renewed pleading from the younger generation in the ADVANCE development and test team has persuaded us to make our many years’ experience of acro protoypes available to a wider public. From this summer we present a pure Freestyle glider with EN/LTF certification - the new ZETA.
This latest serial product from ADVANCE is intended for freestyle enthusiasts and acro improvers, who want to take the logical step-by-step road to new manoeuvres, while progressively extending their personal boundaries. The ZETA provides full-on dynamics and develops the required amount of energy, which can, however, be well managed and kept in check. Thanks to compactness it also has genuine passive safety. A smallish wing area also makes thermal flying a lot of fun, with good climbing qualities making child’s play of getting altitude. An extensive try-out programme with a variety of pilots at the Mürren (CH) Freestyle Mecca generated much enthusiasm. All current freestyle manoeuvres were comprehensively flown there. Feedback from the road tests have put the final polish on our ZETA.
The ZETA comes out in the 21 size and two colour combinations. It’s not just the wing that’s fun, but so is the Freestyle variant of the new ADVANCE colour scheme. Market introduction is planned for summer 2013. More info. to follow."
