During the paragliding festival el Yelmo in Spain, the 2nd Monumental Acro Series by Dani Martinez took place at the Castello de Segura. Among the invited pilots were Raúl Rodriguez (ESP), Horacio LLorens (ESP), Anthony Green (US), Tim Alongi (FRA), Lino Oehl (GER), Marvin Ogger (GER), Renan and Juan-Luis Morales and Malaguita Tejeiro (ESP).
Each pilot had a 7 minutes play time, launching from the castle's highest tower. Points from 5-15 were given for all kind of touches and landings as well for creativity and acro skills...
Marvin Ogger from Germany ruled this years Monumental Acro Series sending massive seven minutes, followed by French bird Tim Alongi and the acro legend Raul Rodriguez from España.
Conditions were great this year, however for some heats not strong enough. As the first year it has been a unique contest session again, not only for the pilots pleasure, the crowd watching from the walls was amazed being that close.
