The come back of AcroAria after a 5 years stops has been a total success with 3 solo and 3 synchro run completed. We have also seen the come back in competition of Raul and the presentation of many of the new twisted tricks.
In the solo competition Tim Alongi took the lead directly after the first run and kept it with a big advance all the way through. The battle for the 2nd and 3rd place was for Eliot Nochez and François Ragolski (current APWT and FAI ranking leader). While Jeremy Bailly and Théo de Blic fought for the 4th and 5th place on the last run.
At the end the 5top spots were booked for the french team and we saw for the first time since its creation in 2010 the domination of the French Connection in the Acro World.
During the solo tasks we could saw many of the new tricks as the cab slide, twisted anti-rythmic, twisted Infinit, twisted rhythmic... It was the first competition where the twisted tricks were really shown to the judges and to the public.
In the synchro competition 3 teams were fighting for the top spots as the Sol Acro Team (Rafael Goberna & Hernan Pitocco), Face to Face (Raul Rodriguez & François Ragolski) and Twisted Boys (Théo de Blic & Horacio Llorens) were all really motivated! The Twisted Boys were flying in competition for the first time and showed amazing synchro skills, flying hard tricks with an amazing coordination ! While Face to Face shows the come back of Raul in the Acro Scene with his amazing style. At the end Twisted boys leaded the competition on the first 2 runs until the 3rd one where landing mistakes dropped them to the 2nd place overall while Face to Face took the lead with a crazy run and Sol Acro Team secured a 3rd place.
The synchro final on Sunday was cancelled due to rain and we now have to wait the next stop in AcroMax, Italy.
