On friday the 6th edition of Acrolac started at Bourget du Lac, close to Chambéry. It is an FAI2 category event and the french championship so there are a lot of french and some international pilots are participating. It was heavily raining all the night and in the morning, but finally the sun arrived and the conditions got better. 15 newcomer pilots had to make the safety qualification run by boat towing and not all of them passed the selection. Unfortunately there are only 3 synchro teams signed up for the competition.
On saturday the weather was nice sunny all they long and in the morning the first synchro task was done from tricky take-off of Le Chat mountain. Also the first solo run began, but as usual a few hours later the backwind got stronger on the top, so the pilots had to come down to finish the task by the 3 towing boats. In both categories there were free announced program with 4 maneuvers, which means that the competitors could choose their routine without any restrictions.

3rd - No Fear (Guillaume Cornet and Cyril Planton) France
The second solo run also began, but there was not enough time to finish so it will be continued tomorrow.
