I think its the IMPRESSION on the whole which counts.
and also how the public reacts...if they freak out or if they stay calm!
i think thts a really COOL/NEW way of a competition!!! because you can be very creative in making your choreography.

sorry, but how can a "miss beautiful" or hockeyplayers be judge on a acro-competition!?!?!?
what do they know about these maneuvers?
i guess nothing or do they get a crash-course how a helicopter has to look like?
In solo Renato Lopez won the freestyle open competition with a beautiful flight, Tumbling, enormous MacTwist to Helico, Misty to Helico, perfect ground spiral + raft landing...2nd Félix, 3rd Antonie Montant, who just came to make a few show flights, because he is busy with the french ski instructor examination...
In synchro SATisfaction or Joker team won, but I didn't see the results.
The judges were outstander sportmans (hokey players), miss beautifuls, 1-2 fai judge and me :-)
Unfortunately the organizers did a big mistake, because they let a lot of synchro teams to participate and fullfill the solo with other, not so experienced pilot, so the first solo run was pretty boring (however the idea was to present the best pilots in both categories and make a great show...)
