2007 - the year of changes

According to reliable sources we can be sure that some of the big names in the acro scene change company for 2007.

Most of you know that Pal and Gabor moved to APCO Aviation right after last year’s competition season. Now their G-forces are having a rest.

Not only they will be flying with new brands but also Felix Rodriguez, who was the star pilot of U-turn, now left the Team and prepares for a great year with his new Ozone glider.

The spanish company, Windtech is entering the acro scene with their new wing, the Loop. Info from Windtech's website:

We are releasing a revolutionary new freestyle paraglider which will satisfy the needs of even the most demanding acro pilot… the Loop 17.

This XXX-small glider is only 17 m2, but with an aspect ratio of 6.3 it's the highest A/R acro glider on the market - making it possible it to convert from one manoeuvre to another with loads of energy!!!

The Renegades - HALFPIPE

The unique Renegades Team changed company and currently they are flying with a glider called Rencal, a special reinforced edition of Skywalk's beginner wing, the Mescal.

After inventing the incredible Renegades Hang-Over maneuver, Wolf Rettenbacher and his team are now working on a new formation called Halfpipe!

Home, sweet home...

Finally, after 2 days of travelling yesterday we returned to Hungary from our 2.5 months journey in Brasil. However we couldn't train as much acro as we wanted to (to tell the truth we didn't even spend lot of time at sites which are suitable for that) but instead we had a lot of fun playing on coastal sites, getting brown on the beach, tasting great foods, completely unknown fruits, meet with many many new friends, e aprendemos portugues!
