Today the weather wasn't so optimal as yesterday, mixed with stronger easterly wind, some low clouds and building up thunderstorm, finally some showers in the afternoon. Raul and Pittoco could perform their solo re-runs at first, but the following synchro task was cancelled. Unfortunately during yesterday's run Horacio Llorens (World Cup Champion in 2008) had a strong landing on the raft, which is almost completely unprotected and quite hard. He had a medical check in the hospital where a light back injury was discovered. Horacio is back with the pilots already and he is ready to continue the contest tomorrow!
The results of the first solo run were published, tomorrow will go on with solo again.

Hello at all,
fortunately, the WAG ACRO SITE is very very near at my office, today I was there, during my lunch pause, and I'm very happy to write some rows about what i've seen.
I've assisted at these compretitors, the American Team, the Swiss Team of Hervè Cerutti and his girlfriend, The Just Acro Team of Pal and Gabor, The Spanish Team with Raul and Felix and the Austrian Team of Alex and Bernd.
The day is a little bit cloudy, with grey cumulus over our heads, but the cloudbase is over the 1000metres, so, no problem for the jump from the elico.
The pilots makes 4 manovers or connections at about 800metres from the lake, there is a very big raft, but some of the pilots doesn't reach correctly the surface due some light valley breeze winds.
Personally, i put the Spanish team, a little more higher in the results between the the Justacroteam and the Austrian team, but Felix doesn't reach the raft and i don't know how much penalty point they can collect. Raul is a master, everyone knows, the synconization beteween the 2 brother was amazing, specially in the Infinity and in the ground spirals (very very impressive).
So, i just wait for the official results, to evaluate if my opinion is correct or not. The results will be avaiable in the next hours.

from the right corner, you must choose "DIRETTA RAI SPORT+" usually, the WAG are on air from the 12:30/12:45 until the 14.00 (UTC +1). There seems that will be another reply at 24:00 every day (tonight i will check about).
Tonight, i try to record from my TV the direct stream, if i will be lucky, tomorrow i will post on vimeo the today task, so everyone can see it !!!

Thanks for the updates, it's really praiseworthy that we outsiders get some info on what is going on in the Air-lympics over at Italy.
Too bad that Horacio got hurt becuase of poor design of the raft. In the future we should get some rules about the construction of the raft. It's too stupid that a pilot goes through an advanced program without any problems and gets injuried on the raft surrounded by soft water. Give Horacio all the best from me.
