Acro in Tenerife?

Hi,

I'm planning to move to Tenerife for 3-4 months during this winter (Dec-Feb/Mar) and of course, if possible, take my glider together :)

As I've never been to Tenerife, I am looking for recommendations for best flying sites/locations. I mostly fly acro, so good altitude above ground (say 700m, with possibility to thermal back) would be a benefit. Water is not required.

I haven't rented any apartment yet, want to go to the best flying location :) Please share your experiences as well as contacts of local clubs or pilots.

thanks for the info
Karolis

ORGANYA H2O

Hi Guys,

some important info regarding hydration in Organya thanks to my friend Pedro ;) :

The main water fountain in town has a high level of Chlorine in it and so does the camp site, this is ok if you are used to drinking City Tap Water.
However the water fountains in the beginning of the Town under the trees as you enter from the South side is pure underground water straight from Sainte Fe ( The famous Mountain on the west of the town with the Monastery on top).
