On wednesday the weather was perfect for flying here in Annecy so the official training day of Acrofolies was really a training day for the competitiors. Many pilots just got their new gliders few weeks or days ago
Finally 27 solo pilots and 11 teams participating in the competition included Gábor and me in both categories.

Just received a mail from Pål Hammar Rognøy, that the official Acro World Cup events are (last year called World Tour):

Acrofolies (May 25th - 28th)
Vertigo-Voss (Jun 28th - July 1st)
Acroaria (August 10th - 13th)
Tropheo Adrenalina (September 6th - 10th)

The website of Acrofolies was re-designed (again) and it is now possible to register for the competition!

Like last year, it will be the first event of the World Aerobatics Tour with solo and synchro category as well.

The Acro Ranking of the 2005 competition season is finally completed!

Aerobatics World Ranking 2005

For the 9th time, the world's best aerobatic hang gliders and paragliders will be converging in Villeneuve. For the first time, they will be competing for world champion titles.

The skies above Lake Geneva will be transformed into an aerobatic playground, with the gliders pushing the limits of gravity.
