Hi,
very important notice to all ava sport base 2015 users!
Today, ca 2 second after take off, right riser disconnect and i crash from about 15 m height. I am now quite ok.
What happened:
Right riser disconnect and pull out base glider (of course it does not work- too low). Left side of main glider was still connected, and after some moment i crash.
I quick realise that there is AVA malfunction. Yellow pin of 3-ging release system was still in the right place but system release.
From the photos you can see, that white rope was not stitched and it release.
The same was on the left side, but it was still connected.
I had around 30 flight on this harness and i can not imagine, how it can hold so long.
On the left side i can pull out small ring with hand.
Ava send me with base harness also second release set. That one is totally different made.
The stitch are on the other side of the ring and it seems connected ok.
I almost die today, so guys, check yours base harnesses.
That is insane malfunction form AVA
It is almost impossible to predict it.
Is AVA company still work? Web page does not exist.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know because of this I've decided to take my loops (which have the stitching near the ring) to my DZ rigger for an extra bartack. Just in case.

We`ve already have been in touch with Peter and have information about his accident.
In relation to the above subject, we would like to remind all ACRO Base users to check again their 3-Ring loops. For your convenience see the link to guidelines in pictures

We would like to apologies for the inconvenience caused by the existing problem with AVA`s website. About 3 weeks ago the website was destroyed by virus and now our web designers are working on its recovery. Hopefully this will happen in next few days.
Also we will be happy to see all of you at Coupe Icare Expo in St Hilaire du Touvet - Lumbin from September 17-20, 2015
Best Regards

Lupus, like you said, just looped back inside the line and that's it....
That was temp bomb, unforgivable deadliest mistake.
I fell down like a pear!
That's pretty scary.
You are saying your loop was not reaching the stiching, just looped back inside the line and that's it? I checked mine and my two pairs of replacement loops and they are all looking good... but it's still a scary shit...
Ava is still working, but I think their website was compromised so it's offline now.
