There is a substantial difference between the 2002 rogallo and the beamer 2: lower sink rate and no preferntial direction before you take the controls.
But there is also a substantial price difference.
(PS. has the reserve been tested in the last few months? 8 years for a reserve are quite a lot (even if it has never been used).

I fly with papillon and normal rescue. Papillon save my life 2 times and I'm very happy to fly with it. The opening is super fast, is it very stable, easy to turn and the sink rate it's low. Perfect for soft landings! ;-)
His life is 15 years, and I think the price is good. I think is not different beetwin 2002 and more new...
