I want to start with acro, and then want a freestyle wing.
Im trying (and struggle) to find any good review's and recommendations.
I have looked:
Ozone Octane2
Airg Sophie high
(Airg sophie chill, coming soon, but not sure when)
Gradient freestyle 3
Icaro Aguila
My guts tell me that airg is good freestyle wings, but i also think the Sophie high is a little to aggressive.
So i hope the Sophie chill is coming with some info soon.
But i just have my guts to follow because i cant find anything about those wing...
I have a new 2015 Avasport Acro Base harness and need to get a canopy for it. From talking to a few people and reading up, it seems that a large skydiving reserve may be suitable as an alternative to a BASE canopy. I would like to know what considerations there should be in making this choice, particularly what the disadvantages of using a skydiving reserve are. This is my current understanding of the pros and cons of a skydiving reserve:
Pro:
Lighter & smaller pack volume
Cheaper and easier to find
Hi,
I have an Air'G Emilie Peace 22 wing. I usually do basic maneuvers (Helico, Misty Flip, Tumbling, Rhitmyc SAT, etc.)
and basic connections (Misty To Sat, Misty To Heli, Sat to Heli, etc.)
My in flight weight is 116 kg, what means 5.27 kg / m2 wing load.
I'm planning to buy a new wing. I was thinking about Peace2, but it's largest size is 20.5 m2. That is 5.66 kg / m2 with my in flight weight.
Hi everyone!, I would like asking to somebody has skill experience a technical question:
1) How is the name of material they used for the paragliding lines (cover lines) ?
2) What sewing machine is it possible to use to do it?(model)
3) How sewn program is it necesary to have?
4) What kind of wire sewn ? (plastic? or what material?)
Thank you so much for your answer!
Good fly!
Hi Guys,
I hope some of you take time to answer some questions regarding beginner acro wings.
What makes them so different/diffecult to handle in comparison to say a normal or freestyle wing, outside of increased wing loading which creates more dynamic & speed. Has it to do with the longer line lengths, making an Acro wing much more sensitive to all inputs?
Then some say, I progressed quicker on an acro wing where others say I nearly killed myself or often I read acro wings slow progression.
