I’m buying a glider just to learn the beginner acro. I saw several videos of helico on Hook 3 but can’t find any on Hook 5. I’m offered to buy one. Can you helico on Hook 5 (mid weight)?
Cheers, -Albert

Makes sense. I’m not thinking of starting helico as a beginner but considering getting a glider that won’t limit my progression until the helico. Thanks for your input!
Hey there.
Hook 5 is a good glider to start acro, like every lowB gliders or almost. Epic 1 or FS remains the best according to top acro pilots.
Nevertheless reading "beginner acro AND helico" gives me goosebumps.
Helico is one of the most difficult tricks, far more demanding than tumble for example.
If you have an enA or enB, keep it until you master stalls, spins, and obviously 360, sat and wings.
Fly safe.
