Oh I know tzuk, you are certainly right. I am thinking this is a tool for explaining to someone who does not watch any acro videos, and my thought was keeping a consistent theme with the swingset is more helpful to understanding, though you are right in that it doesn't accurately reflect when it comes to the tricks that have a center of rotation in the lines.
