Lines-update for the MORPHEUS for free

Villingen-Schwenningen. The MORPHEUS, the leading acro-wing by U-Turn, is completely equipped with Technora-masterlines since some months. This led to a remarkable improvement of the flight characteristics during acro figures. Especially the lower stretching and shrinking, which guarantees constant performance, is highlighted by the pilots.

In order to offer all MORPHEUS pilots the best-in-class flight characteristics, U-Turn now decided to offer a lines-update for free: All pilots, whose MORPHEUS is equipped with Dyneema-lines at the C- and D-level can get these lines without charge. Just send an e-mail to info@u-turn.de , containing the serial number of the glider or call 0049 7720 807111 (…112 Fax).

Please notice: Technora lines outperform Dyneema-lines as far as resistance against stretching and shrinking is concerned, but they are more sensitive for bending. As with the A- and B-masterlines now, pilots have to be very watchful to avoid any bending of the lines, because the breaking strength of the lines may be negatively influenced.

Hi Mike,

Erdal Akkus in Ikarus does good repairs around there, he migh also be able to help finding/stitching new kevlar lines for you.
