Lee Tryhorn making a D-Bag jump with Bea Garcia in Algodonales. To much tape was used to keep the lines together stoped the glider operning. Lee was able to open it up and get it flying but it used up alot of hight.

Maybe I told him!? :-)
But I used to use only 1 single round of some very thin paper-tape to separate A-B and C-D groups that helped to keep the lines clean. This supposed to rip immediately when the wing starts opening, but recently I stopped using it. What I'd still do is collection all brake-lines (except the last 2-4 close to the stabilo) together and fix them with a weak rubber band.
Sweet openings,

Are you crazy? Why the hell do you use tape on the lines?
Ever heard about a parachute with taped lines? Jiiizz

I don't understand why you used tape?
Surely rubber bands are the better and safer option.
It looked as though the glider came out the bag good but the tape stopped it from flying.
Nice way to give uself a little scare though. :)
