probably because you're not looking at videos properly man :P look between 4 and 6 seconds on this one for the "opposite side corrections " , and here's video answering what you wrote : http://vimeo.com/27084000

Some pilots are entering Infinity from training Rhythmic on one side and 'gunning' for infinity as their goal but training rhythmic left and right helps you learn "proper" infinity and its corrections easier.
