Hello Acropilots!
I have improved my glider's HELICO and Connections, Misty and Mactwist behaviour a LOT. (morpheus 19) Everything works now like a marvel. Maybe It can also work for you. Check out the idea and please feedback. It could be a good one :).

You see , I like it BIG. More G in manouvres, more radius in rotation, higher tumbles. And Morphy 19 is a thermaling machine...:D., at my wingloading. I love thermalling & Acro! I have just bought another secondhand Morph 19, but needs a lot of linetrimming. And yes I have kevlar.
As for the Spacers topic, I do believe this is something that can be used on other acro gliders as well, for ease of spins... I strive to improve also the glider, not only my technique.
I have plans of buying a 17 sqm glider, but for competitional use only. And I will use Spacers on that also! Makes it easier...

your deep stall issues are typical characteristics of a morpheus- did you get a full kevlar line set for the glider?
also- at 65kgs, isnt it time you got a smaller better wing now that you are flying so well Calin?
cool to tinker with things like ur mctwist video but perhaps better to just change the glider!

Nikita has a great inertia in all manoevres. Yet I belive it lacks sensitivity... It's a "one piece" russsian woman :)). BUT we have a saying in Romania : Don't try 2 fix someting that works! :P.
... Just only if you're curios 'bout it. I like to make things better , easier. I try to improve.

Nice idea, but there has to be an other way to make the glider turn nice in spins. My Nikita is as it was when I buyed it and it turns great and fast in spins. It is even hard to stop it after misty and it never stops itself in helico... I don't know how Icaro does it :-)

But thanks anyway for the interresting physics lesson!

Cheers

you just push the ABC the D is not neeeded in SAT ( only the A and B), to increase tension to speed up the outerside (increase its angle) so it don't spin.
