(I finally borrowed a go-pro to get a few clips)
Where I fly in the states there aren’t any acro pilots to learn from. justACRO was my primary source for insights into the sport of aerobatic paragliding. After a couple SIV clinics, I began training acro in 2010. Back then, obtaining the infinite seemed unlikely. It’s more calm and beautiful than I anticipated. Thanks to all the creators and users that make this place happen.

Our favorite place to boat tow is Cascade Lake in Idaho. I'm approaching the end of a mechanical engineering degree, so I don't get to fly much during school, but this summer it's on!
See you this summer! :)
Hey clancy,
i'll be in the states for helicopter flight training this year. in hillsboro oregon. I'm not sure yet if i'll bring my wing, but when i see this i guess i must. Maybe i'll rent a plane some day and visit you if possible.
About which lake are you talking about?
It's even better if you visit in the summer, because we have a nice lake to tow on and can max out the tow-line every time!
Hey Clancy, your site looks greatt, i'm slowly preparing a trip on the west side of America for the summer 2013 or 2014...thinking about to visit you....pretty good acro there.
This is western Idaho.
Thanks for the advice Simon.
In the infinite, I have also seen pilots push the risers apart as they come over the wing, or brake both sides as they come under the wing. I have my theories, but what are the reasons for these inputs?
Congrats, great work! Where do you fly in the states?
wow. this towing altitutde is huge!! for you infinite. well done! but maybe try to grap your risers. you are more stable during the tumbling and dont need to correct so much. its also a bit safer.. (you can not break unintentionally :)
have fun!
If the conditions are right, we can get to around 1150 m and can do anywhere from 12 to 20 tows in a day. Enough to be completely exhausted : )
how high do you tow there ??? looks huge !
