2006 is the year of the first official acro world championship so the FAI and other official associations started to threat the rules even more strictly than before. For example it means doping tests are expected not only on the World Championship but other, smaller competitions. On Acrofolies the first dopping test was already done but without any consequenses. If you have a positive result, you cannot participate in acro competitions for 2 years!

Today we leave the beautiful Catalunya for few days to participate in Acrolac at Lac de Bourget in France. This competition is not the part of the World Cup Tour this year but an FAI 2. category event. We’ll take part in synchro with my friend Gábor. Hope I can find an internet access there to keep you informed with news, results, pictures, etc.

It seems the French Hans Prunaretty will be the 4th person who master the Infinite Tumbling.
At the moment he can do very high Tumblings and Rhythmic SATs. Day by day it is getting better and sometimes it looks like the movement of the Infinite for few turns, but he didn’t make it „infinite” yet.

Hans says: „The most important thing is to believe. But what is even more important to stop to believe at the right moment :)”

Yesterday it was the first time that I decided to throw my rescue in emergency situation. I got 3 complete twists after a MacTWIST with a G-Force which I just bought few days ago. I started to spiral down very fast and I couldn´t do anything because the brakelines locked and the top of the twist was so high that I couldn´t grab the lines above it. However just before I could pull out the reserve somehow I twisted out...I thought it is not possible (or not easy) to twist out while you are spiralling down very fast.

Unfortunately I didn’t have internet access last week. Acrofolies was a really successful competition with 5 valid runs both in solo and synchro category. Congratulation for the organizers! In solo the SAT team owned the podium. In the last run Raul took the lead from his brother Félix however he also made a brilliant run (Rythmic SAT to Infinite again). Horacio Llorens finished at the third place. In synchro SAT Brothers, Blues „Apocalypse” Team and SOL Tribal Acro Team were the best. Detailed results at the official website of Acrofolies.

Yesterday two synchro and one solo run was done so thanks to the great weather after 3 days 4 successful runs were flown in both categories.
