The flying site of the legendary RedBull-Vertigo competition.
Access to the startplace is by car and is approximately 30-40 minutes long from Villeneuve.

The official landing place about 500 meters away from the lakeside so normally it is not a great place to train over water. When there is an event the landing platform is right next to the little sailing harbor. Arriving there is a long glide and with an acro glider the altitude is approximately 500 meters over the water.
Sometimes the valley wind stays calm but it can also pick up to 20-30 km/h in the summer. It is entering from NW (from the lake towards the land) so watch your placement carefully when the breeze is well visible on the lake's surface.

ATTENTION: the green area westwards from Villeneuve is a nature protection area! It is strictly prohibited to fly over this terrain. This includes landing on the small dirt field behind the harbor / camping site.
