being light (75kg) on a beamer 130

hi all,

i'm about to buy a secondhand beamer 2 which comes in only one size: 130kg
i'd fly with around 75kg and i wonder if anyone has experience with being light on a rogallo reserve. could it be a (not so) funny endless ride in places like organya (lots of lifty air) and canaries (strong wind)?

actually maybe even a regular square reserve (what i have now) could cause trouble if needed in strong wind. i fly alot at the coast..

any info or advice is welcome!

Quickout or Paralock Karabiners with Ava Acro NG

Hi folks,

I'm thinking about adding a Rogallo and thus also Quickout Karabiners. Finsterwalder offers the classic and the new version, the Paralock.

However, I fly with Ava Acro NG and the main support strap is 42mm wide while the Paralock Karabiner offers just 20mm width at the bottom.

Does anyone uses Quickout in combination with wide straps of the harness? Dies it cause any trouble?
It's just my regular steel Karabiners fit so nicely and before spending 180€ I wanna know your thoughts...

Cheers

Harness advice freestyle/acro

I´m looking for some advice on acro/freestyle harnesses, i want dual reserves and i want it to be rather short and easy to transition from running/standing/balancing or just hanging and dragging your feet along the beaches or snowy mountains.

My only experience so far is the supair acro 3, wich feels alittle deep, the seat extends way out to your knees so to speak

question B or B+

Hi everybody...dont want to bored you with a classic question...but need do it! After a short time approach to "acro" with an acro 3 and niviuk fgravity 2 size 22 (naked weight 67 kilos)...where I learned sat (of course) and some lucky turns in helico.....I had to stop....no time and place for training. Actually I just fly tandem..and some solo with an old golden3..is enough for few flights.

Tendon Injury - Picking a Glider with LIGHT Brakes

I injured the tendon on my right elbow doing stalls and SAT's on my U-turn emotion3. Went to a doctor to have it checked out and went 2 months without flying to recover, then another month of paramotoring before I did acro again. Apparently it didn't heal fully and the pain came back when I started doing acro again. I am now doing physical therapy to heal and build strength, and have decided I will wait until the next season in 2022 to start doing acro again to be sure it has healed.
