"Shelar Hills" is located in Kamshet, Pune, state of Maharashtra. This is a wonderful hill near village Karanjgaon. This hill is around 50 km from Pune and 110 km from Mumbai.
Hill is good for flying in west wind. Best time to fly is between Sept/Oct to Mar/April.
This hill stands tall upto 300m(approx.) from ground level, hence provides a good place for high altitude flying.
Almost daily many paragliding schools in the vicinity come here for flying with their students.
